This is the Official US Army Infantry Branch Plaque. Crossed muskets were first introduced into the Army as the insignia of officers and enlisted men of the Infantry in 1875. In 1924 the Branch insignia was standardized by the adoption of the 1795 model Springfield Arsenal musket for the Crossed Rifles.
Our Artists perfectly reproduced the Army Infantry Emblem right down to the two gold color crossed muskets, vintage 1795 Springfield muskets. This sharp Army Infantry Branch Plaque is 100% Handcrafted from All-Natural fine hardwoods. This impressive Army Infantry Wooden Plaque measures 11.5" across.
