Naval AVIATION OBSERVER Badge Wood Art Plaque

Plaque Description

Naval Aviation Observer
Naval Aviation Observer insignia is granted to aviation mission specialists such as in-flight Meteorologists, or Naval Intelligence or Cryptology officers who regularly fly as crew on selected naval aircraft. The Naval Observer Badge is also referred to as the Flight Meteorologist Badge.
In the Marine Corps the badge is awarded to in-flight aircraft support personnel under its original name as the Naval Aviation Observer Badge for non-aeronautically designated officers flying in observer/spotter roles in Marine Corps aircraft.
Coast Guard Aviation Mission Specialist personnel also wear the same Badge as Naval Aviation Observers. This includes Aerial Ice Observers, Sensor System Operators, Tactical Systems Operators, Aviation Gunners and Aviation Medical Technicians.
Handcrafted from 6 different fine hardwoods, our Navy Aviation Observer Badge Wood Art Plaque measures 21" x 6".
We carefully crafted the center Anchor to perfectly match the original, and this handsome plaque features our Signature Feathered Wings, a time consuming
method to create highly detailed wood wings.
The different colors are the natural colors of different fine hardwoods, not paint or colored stains.
Our NEW Navy Aviation Observer Wood Art Plaque measures an impressive 21" wide.
